Please note:

• Cauze Charitable is the donor of record for local and federal tax purposes.

• We do not want to receive a receipt or any sort of direct mail from your nonprofit. Please, do no mail us. We are inundated, and it goes directly into the trash.

• The donor decides what to share with nonprofits, and even then, the only information they share is their name and email. 80% of our donors do not share their information.

• That being said, we enable you to thank donors and build a relationship with donors via our platform.

Ready to say thank you the donors behind this grant? Seeing a thank you message helps our givers feel the immediate impact of their donation, gets them excited to share with their friends, and they look forward to giving again.

Our nonprofit admin portal makes it simple for you to engage with your supporters regardless of what contact information they opt to share.

 Here are the steps to claiming your organization’s Cauze account:

1. Visit https://web.cauze.com/signup and create a personal Cauze account. Why would you create a personal account? Because Cauze was built for you, as a giver, independent of your role at your nonprofit. You'll be able to use this login information for our nonprofit web portal, as well as in the Cauze mobile app.

2. Send our team an email at grants@cauzecharitable.org - you must include the EMAIL used and your organization’s name and EIN.

3. Our team will verify your role with the organization and grant you admin access. Please be patient we will respond to your request as soon as we are able (usually within a couple of business days)!

All grants and special account names are recommendations of the donor and do not reflect the views of Cauze Charitable Fund. By accepting this grant, your organization certifies to Cauze Charitable that no donor or individual related to the donor will receive any goods, services or other private benefits, such as benefit tickets, school tuition, membership fees or goods purchases at an auction. Also, this grant may not be used to fulfill a pre-existing pledge. Your organization should not provide a tax receipt for this grant; this grant was made from a donor-advised fund account, and Cauze Charitable Fund has already provided the donor with a tax receipt for the donation. Please do not send thank you notes or marketing materials to Cauze Charitable Fund.
