Cauze was the first platform to democratize the donor-advised fund — giving everyone the power of a personal foundation without the wealth requirement, the minimums, or the paperwork. With Cauze, you can give any amount to any of 2M+ registered nonprofits, from your kid's school to an international organization, all from your phone.
But we didn't stop at making giving easier. We made it social. On Cauze, givers curate collections of nonprofits called "Cauzes" and share them with their people. Others can join, pass it on, and celebrate the influence of their generosity. It's philanthropy that spreads like a playlist.
Cauze Charitable Fund is a 501(c)(3) public charity that manages donor-advised funds and processes grants to nonprofits across the country. The technology platform is built and maintained by Cauze Inc., which licenses its technology to the Charitable Fund.
Every dollar donated through Cauze stays in the charitable ecosystem. We generate income through SaaS fees from corporate workplace giving programs and small administrative fees on gifted balances — never from individual givers' personal donations.
Since our founding, we've facilitated over 165,000 donations totaling more than $20 million to nonprofits nationwide. Our database includes every registered 501(c)(3) public charity in the United States — over 2 million organizations — updated weekly.
